The Backyard

Let me start off by saying the internet has been out at my house for a week or so and I have been meaning to blog about this for a while now. I finally found some time to connect. Sorry again to all my viewers.
A few weeks ago, I saw one of my favorite bands ever, Incubus, at what used to be one of my favorite venues in Austin, The Backyard.
Let me continue by saying Incubus was amazing. They have a new album out which is O.K. Since Incubus has not toured in over 3 years, All I wanted to hear was the classics. They complied. I think maybe three songs of the show were from the new album, the rest were their hits. They played Circles, Pardon Me, Are You In and a brand new version of Dig. I was in heaven.
Let me now take the time to say the new Backyard is a giant clusterf*** The parking situation is ridiculous and it took over an hour to get into the venue. The beers are way over-priced and the venue didnt seem to hold many more people like promised. It took my friend an hour to get out of the venue at the end of the show. Overall, the new venue is a BIG WASTE OF MONEY.
